The Midi Moto R1 SuperBike – Red Racing Replica is the big brother to the Mini Moto.
You can recognize the shape instantly being closely based on the Yamaha R1 race motorcycle.
The R1 SuperBike Midi Moto is larger than the Mini Moto, and because of this, the designers have been able to add a whole list of extras including: front and rear race suspension, front and rear lights, brake light, indicators, speedometer, and electric start.
The slightly bigger size and means it’s much easier to ride.
The power plant is a Mitsubishi 49cc, air-cooled two-stroke race engine. This engine has proven itself to be the most reliable engine available, and certainly the most popular for the Midi Moto race bike.
The engine drives a CVT type gearbox, via a thick chunky chain, and is capable of 25-40 mph dependant on rider weight.
Braking comes courteously of front and rear drilled and vented disc brakes, fitted to multi spoke alloys, which have been shod with Bridgestone replica bt010 treaded road tyres.
